The factory power steering hoses in hydroboost equipped 2001-2010 General Motors 2500/3500 DIESEL pickup trucks are notorious for leaks. We've changed many of these hoses in our shop and discovered that the available replacements for these hoses have not been improved, many of them leaking again very quickly after installation. From a repair shop perspective, this makes offering a "parts and labor" warranty, even when using OEM parts, nearly impossible. Since a large portion of our business is the service and repair of light duty diesel pickups, we needed a solution we could count on, one we could offer a warranty on!

Drawing on our contacts and experience with custom manufactured tubing and hose assemblies, we have produced a completely new set of replacement power steering hoses that addresses the problems with the OEM parts. We tested with different types of hose and found that Stainless Steel Braid over Teflon hose (like we use in most of our other assemblies) generated an unacceptable level of in-cab noise...noise that is NOT a problem with the non-braided style of hydraulic hose we chose for our production assemblies. We also tested with tubing sections that were permanently crimped as part of the hose assembly and ones where the hose could be disconnected. We wanted to be sure we were providing the best of every option, and we're extremely proud of the final product!

Our power steering hose assemblies are not only manufactured from superior materials, we have built them to be easier to install and serviceable in the unlikely event of a leak. Unlike the factory design, the hydraulic hose is no longer permanently attached to the tubing sections, one of the major downfalls of the stock lines. Instead, the Driven Diesel tubing sections have been fitted with AN fittings, making the hydraulic hose portion of the line removeable and replaceable. This aids installation by allowing the tubing sections to be installed independently of the hose..and allows replacement of the hydraulic hose without having to purchase the expensive tubing sections again.

Great solution to the terrible factory power lines. Had them installed for a few weeks. So far so good. Fairly easy to install. Detailed instructions come with the lines so if you have any mechanical skills you can have this job done and be back on the road in a couple of hours.

Left the lines loose at hydra booster installed hydraulic hoses loosely and then moved and tightened the steel lines holding them in the position I wanted.Then tightened the hydraulic line.Great fixI put two sets of factory lines on and still leaked.

definitely a quality product but the reason i ordered it was because my low pressure line was the only one that was rotted and leaking but it didnt come with that line. So i still had to buy a cheap aftermarket line anyway. kind of a waste of $300

didn't have to remove the steering bolt. Directions are good. Cleared up my leak! Expensive but quality is there. Thanks

received the new lines and was impressed by the quality of this product. I've worked in the aviation industry and know what quality parts look and function like. The lines are very well make and of far superior quality than the original. The install was much easier than I expected and I didn't remove all of the components listed in the instructions. I've had no pump noise, no leaks, no problems. This kit is great. I have 247000 mi on my truck and the lines really started leaking bad. I am a huge fan of using OEM parts unless I find a true quality upgrade and this fits exactly that description. Thank you for this awesome fix. Jake Wolverton Colorado

Excellent quality, CNC lines fit great, straight forward directions. Power steering pump is louder after install. Only issue I had with the install was the length of the hydraulic lines, the length of them should be corrected for easier install one was too long and the other too short either was they were installed.
