This FASS Electric Heater Probe Kit is an upgrade for FASS Drop-In Series or Driven Diesel Fuel Systems being used in extremely cold climates (additional adapter needed for Driven Diesel systems). If you have a FASS Titanium or Titanium Signature Series pump, this is not the correct kit.

FASS Drop-In Series Systems have ports specifically for electric heaters.

Driven Diesel Billet Fuel Filter Heads were designed with extra ports for installation flexibility. With a simple adapter fitting, one of the extra ports can easily be used for a FASS Electric Heater.

Fuel System heaters help aid with cold weather starts and keep fuel from gelling while driving during extremely cold temperatures. Once power is applied, the heater will begin warming if the temperature is below 35°F, and will automatically shut off at 70°F.

IMPORTANT NOTE : Additional components may be needed to complete the installation of this heater. FASS does NOT include a toggle switch for manual control of the heater. Depending on your situation, you may wish to be able to run the heater without turning the ignition key (which will also attempt to run the fuel pump).
